Far Cry 3 Thread

Hi guys, i did ask but didn't see a reply, i got the game code from a OC member then did the AMD reg part to download from Ubi, anyway the link didn't work that they give me so i got the game from another member who had a link, anyway i now have the game on my pc but no cd key? how do i get this from AMD or Ubi :S thanks

What sort of settings will I be able to run with a HD7850 OC? OC'd to 1050 core and 5800 mem.. Will I be able to play high settings? With half decent FPS (as in playable all the time...)

Thanks,
Cam.

This is cool.

It reassigned all my keys to the correct keys on dvorak, and tells me the correct keys on all tip screens.

Graphics are good and there's a ton load of missions and things to do, its a bit overwhelminng.

I had rain for the first time last night as I pinched a jetski for the first time and headed off on a trip across the estuary I was next to. It was absolutely teeming it down, proper storm!!.

You could try calling AMD or Ubisoft customer support.

You need to get rid of that ancient GPU of yours :D, not sure if it's an x-fire problem.

Well I have disabled xfire. That didn't work. I have updated all of my video codecs , that didn't work.

When I EVENTUALLY get through the cutscenes at about 0.1 fps the game runs very smooth all maxed out, so it is a little strange. Also frustrating because it basically makes the game unplayable.

The only thing I can think of, is the cut scene CPU dependant ?

Edit: Maybe. http://www.techspot.com/review/615-far-cry-3-performance/page6.html

Like most of today's games, Far Cry 3 can use four cores or threads, so it's no surprise that dual-core chips suffer, as evidenced by the Phenom II X2 and Athlon II X2. However, core/thread efficiency is also extremely important and this is where the Intel has an edge, with the i7-3770K and i7-3960X topping our chart.
