It's outwith his competence and he's making it up as he goes along. I view it as a good thing myself, they can't help the media portrayal here but that portrayal is playing to our benefit ultimately. The commission didn't want to confront this, but now that the SG is seeking urgent clarify they've just started the ball rolling.
The complete silence both ways gave it away sweetie. Keep on your toes, Ninja.

Why does it matter? The Muslim population would have to expand at a ridiculous rate to exceed that of "white" people, by which I'm sure you mean white people who happen to be British and will, unfortunately, will be assumed to be Christians just because they're white.

It's certainly within his purview as President of the European Commission, the body that ultimately decides such things, far more than it is Mr Swinney's that is for sure. Not wanting to derail this thread, but the SNP do seem to be scrabbling about a bit....I think Lord Lipsey is right when he says its all a bit bizarre...anyway it'll all come out in the wash eventually.
