For under £10 I wasn't expecting much but they're rather neat!

Is there iPhone versions?

Sorry guys had to pop out but yes, eBay :D

This was the set I bought.

Works on any phone as long as the sticky back metal plate fits around your camera lens, it "just" fits around my Note 2 and if you goof it up they do give you 6 plates too so you could attach a bunch to other phones and things.

The fisheye will be brilliant for video!

Edit*

here's what the Macro mode looks like (take off the wide angle head):

Aye, I'm actually thinking that they might be nice little stocking filler gifts for friends this Christmas. Pretty cheap and quite novel. :D

10 days since I ordered my iMac, the status in the order hasn't moved since the first minute.

Apples ordering process is beyond dire. I ordered an iPad Mini from them ages ago. They finally got round to bothering to despatch it about 4 days ago but they are sending it by carrier pigeon I think as it still isn't expected to be delivered until next week. I'm amazed they even found a courier that can take a week to deliver a product. I get better levels of service when I buy £15 quid wiper blades for goodness sake. The fact there is SO long between 'preparing for shipment' and actual delivery means you can't even cancel the order either.

The irony is it's going back under the DSR as soon as it arrives because I managed to order one from somewhere else who had no trouble doing that new-fangled 'next day delivery' thing you get these days.

Odd. Never had any issues with Apple myself (this isn't some big defence thing), it normally takes them a couple of days to get the order out, but I normally request engraving, so that makes sense. Their stuff always comes via UPS for me...

Apple has a weird process in stock delivery.

If you buy new, especially if slightly altered or personalised, it takes ages, and sent direct from factory, in this case if it is a computer, China.

If you buy something like an iPad, and has a problem, they allocate a certain level of stock to replace faulty ones, and you get those REALLY fast. Trust me, if you call up and say the one you got is faulty, you get a courier pick up the day after next and replacement sent to you before that one is even picked up.

Waiting a month for a computer though....i dunno.....I don't remember the last iMac took this long.

Personalised stuff, I get it. But standard spec stuff this seems like a bonkers way to run things. Why not carry inventory in each territory? Buying online only to have the thing shipped from China removes the convenience aspect of buying online. I've never encountered anything like this when ordering products before, especially from an organisation that is so highly regarded.

I've had the other one I ordered - after I bought this - in my posession for almost 10 days now!

I wonder what they are like with DSR returns. I guess I'll need to pay return postage. Irritating.

I think their "UK" distribution centre is in Ireland, like Dell. For tax reasons.

The trick for these things are not ordering online. The trick is to walk into store to buy one.

They allocate each store a certain stock, and a certain level of stock arrives daily. Whereas online you go into a queue against everyone in the country, instead of locally.

It's how I got my iPads on launch day without reserving, walk in and buy it. They normally only sell out the entry level spec as they are most popular but i tend to go middle and up because i need the memory and never had a problem getting them.

Kind of inconvenient if you don't live near one of their stores though.
