He sort of has a point. There are lots of things about these forums and the modding of them which don't make sense, but ultimately it is paid for and run by the owners how they see fit. No one is forced to browse here of course, I'm sure there are other forums people can go to should the avatars distress them.

It makes a lot more sense than it used to.

It's a swear filter that's not too clever - just report it and get the admins to modify the settings if you think it's a big enough issue.

I just checked the shades of blue used, the darker one is "Rape Apologist Blue" and the lighter shade is "Fundamental Atheist Blue".

While it's obviously not a big issue, I agree it's a somewhat unusual choice (based on how strict the rules are on this forum regarding family friendly content).

Which I believe was the main point the OP was trying to get across, not a case of him being wet.

To be honest the thing that makes me laugh the most about the images is the use of John Gotti for the role of 'Commissario' (which btw isn't a title used in the mafia just out of interest).

Gotti was probably the most incompetent Mafia Don of all time, single handedly bringing down the organisation and most of it's influence. An FBI agent who was part of the team who nailed him described Gotti as a 'moron'.

At least use someone like Carlo Gambino or Vito Genovese if you want a Mafia Don that had respect.
