I have no idea, mine works, I'd remove it and reinstall it.

Oh woops, ok amended my post. Its not that there is anything wrong with the hardware the build quality and innovation of design is top notch. Its mainly WP8, I really wanted to love it more than anything but I do find myself just grabbing my galaxy nexus over it.

Some features are great, offline navigation, lenses. But to be honest I have so many more apps i use daily on my GNEX banking software, instagram and whats app. Once the apps come and WP8 is more refinded I will probably come back but at the moment I can't afford a £400 paper weight.

Sorry, but you completely lost me when you are annoyed that it doesnt have Instagram for such a camera like whats on the 920.

A newer improved version of WhatsApp is coming.
 
Couple of scratches on the screen, damn.
Think ill invest in a protector and cover now, any good suggestions?

I ordered screen protectors and a case off ebay, the one suggested over the last few pages, has two names, from hong kong. But think I will end up using a pouch type thing as well, using a htc one x sleeve/pouch currently

Thats good news, their must be a production cycle for colours or something, so when white yellows reds are stacked they change the line to Grey.
And its a matt finish as well isnt it..I guess thats another process that has to be added to the assembly line.

I put a ZAGG Invisible Shield on mine (Front and Back).

Very easy to install and doesn't ruin the look of the screen.

The only negative is that the protector material is grippy/tacky to touch. Some people like it, others may hate it. I don't mind it.
 
so a little gutted i cannot backup or transfer my SMS to my 920.
WinPho 7.8 for the Lumia 900 isnt too far away and allows you to do the backing up of the SMS.
 
on the data roaming with EE, my area does not have 4G but should it still display an option for 4G? I only get 2G and 3G. I am on a 4G plan and a 4G sim....

You should have an option for "Highest Connection Speed" in Settings > Mobile Network.
I am on EE 4G but move in an out of 4G coverage and can still pick 3G or 4G from the list even when outside of 4G range.
