I don't regret the getting my 7970 back in feb. Even after paying premium prices, even after all the other cards which have been launched since. Its a great card, Great for DayZ ;) 2300mb used

If you're doing it just for the sake of it then the 7970, if not then why do you want to change? If you're on triple monitors then fine but if on a single then 7950.

Unsure, only ever had the 7850...what are nvidia like?

Heard there not that good for value for money?

I had a 7850 before going to a 670 and don't regret it at all. The 670 munchs through everything I need with ease. very good card and imho offers great value for money in terms of performance.

Its a good step from the 7850, yes. but the GTX 670 is the same performance as the 7950, which is cheaper.

Nvidia's pricing structure as it stands makes them over priced.

Dont understand this, a 7850 will overclock to a 7950, a 7950 matches a 670 pretty much, so how exactly does a 670 which costs £300 offer great value for money when compared with a 7850 @£150 or a 7950 @ £240. CF7850 for £300, how does that compare value\performance.

A 7850 can overclock to a pre boost stock 7950, stock 7950s were very very underclocked from the start though.
Since the new 12.11 drivers 7950s are now pushing near identical frames as a GTX670, what makes the 7950 such good value for money is the same reason the 7850 is - overclocking headroom.

I think I'm going to go for the 7950 after christmas, looks like a lot of card for a little money compared to the others.

Was looking at the 7970 but I can get a 7950 with waterblock for the same price as a standard 7970.
