Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a new PC as my current one is old and slowly dying.
Luckily its coming up to Christmas and as I'm now at uni studying Computer Science my father said he would get me a new PC.

I would quite like to be able to play games on it if possible unfortunately the budget is no more than £400.

I'm not very good with knowing whats good these days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as some of you are extremely knowledgeable

This is my current system specs ( i doubt anything could be reused but if possible that's great)

I don't need an OS so no need to factor that into the cost.

CPU: AMD Phenom X3 8650 triple core
Motherboard: ALiveNF6G-GLAN
Memory: DDR2 3GB
GPU: NVIDIA geforce 9800 GT

Thanks again everyone

Luke

Can you list your full spec, including make and model of the Psu and are your hdd/odd sata? What case do you have?
The more components you can reuse, the better the upgrade.

Reuse your case, as this can be upgrade when funds permit.
I have included a "B" grade H61 as it has a 6gb port and USB 3. There may or may not be some accessories missing, OCUK does`nt always have the time to check every item that is returned.
The Psu I have included is out of stock at the moment, but you can ask in CS when it will be back in.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Cards w/ FARCRY3 & Sleeping Dogs PC Games £149.99
1 x Intel Core i3-3220 3.30GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £89.99
1 x Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (WD5000AAKX) £43.99
1 x **B Grade** Gigabyte H61MA-D3V Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £42

Hi,

Sorry to bring this up again.
My father just informed me that he had went to order this today but the RAM had jumped up a fair amount in price and the PSU is unavailable.

I would really appreciate it if it was possible for someone to pick me out another PSU but still remain on budget.

Kindest Regards
Luke

Thank you for the reply:)

Sorry to be a pain but would you be able to recommend me a good case for the £40-50 mark?

I've came across some money so would rather order a case now and pay for it myself than have to buy and pay shipping again.

Thank you so much for all your help
