fixed so it's not as big as the moon. :)

Oh, mine does it too, but it's on the right, never noticed it and can't see it if you look at it front on.

Not to my knowledge. A few have us have called them to be told the same thing, "we received your order and it has been passed to our fulfillment department". I called about 2 weeks ago to get that info, placed the order another 2 weeks before that. I know they said 28 days, but I didn't really think it would take quite so long. I'm hoping it arrives before Friday as I'm away over Christmas.

I hope it arrives soon as I'm moving house and the tenancy on my current place finishes at the end of this month. If it's delivered by Royal Mail then post redirection should catch it, but if it's delivered by courier then I'll be stuffed.

enabling a-gps????

I was using nokia drive at the weekend, it was OK, but the GPS took a while to update if I went off route.
I also gave nokia transport a go, but the GPS is definitely out by about 100m - how do I check that I have A-GPS enabled or GLONASS

It's time to rejoice, because it looks like something's in the works. This weekend we obtained an exclusive set of identical pictures taken with two Lumia 920 handsets -- one setup with the existing PR1.0 firmware, the other running the upcoming PR1.1 update . Here's the great news: looking at these sample shots (see crop above), it's abundantly clear that Nokia's fixed the camera's fuzziness problem. The not-so-great news is that we're still seeing some issues with white balance. Nokia US recently hinted on Twitter that an update is scheduled "this month" and our source confirms that it's indeed PR1.1.

I'm still waiting for my Charger :( It's taking a little too long now.

With regards to the BBC, there was another update this morning and it brought it back to how it looked 'previously' except with Windows phone 8 wider tiles and 1 page most read news rather than two - which I thought was taking a step back. The photos of the week also disappeared :( :( Let's hope the dev updates it again to how it was after the last update.

Edit: Just read, it's reverted back to version 3.8 rather than version 4. For whatever reason...
 
Cases - V. Good

Not a fan of cases myself....but ordered 2 matte finish Meifeng's.

Just arrived....marvellous. Really does not feel like it adds any bulk, just a sense that it won't slip out of my hand so easily!

Thing is I don't see it as a fix, as the photos I posted im more than happy how it is, so if we are seeing an improvement over what we have not that will be amazing.
 
If you want the original Bing maps back on Nokia phones, get the Maps app by big.info. There was already an app like that but this one has the original icon ;)

You sound strangely unhappy they're fixing a fault with the camera (the major issue preventing it from being easily the best camera in a mobile on the market).

So far, dropped a couple of times and not a scratch. *Fingerscrossed* No more mishaps!
 
Anyone using Weather Flow and having issue with it every so often 'automatically' blocked for background task? I 'tick' the box, run the app and it updates - then blocked again!

And the WP8 Battery App lock screen logo is gone again. Restart phone, reload app, still not there. Argh. Just little things slowing grinding me - wasn't an issue on WP7 when it wasn't available, now that's available, it's not quite right.

*That* annoys me on my otherwise precious..........
