Christmas Guilty Pleasures

Hopefully Gremlins will be on this year, a great christmas movie :)

Leg of lamb on the BBQ christmas day for me, as I can't stand Turkey. I do a turkey for all those that say "it's not christmas without turkey" Then the ****s never eat it and go for the lamb!

I also do a stuffing burger for later on the bbq.

Gammon and ham and lots of it cold with different pickles and relishes for days after :)

Pigs in blankets, and proper sausagemeat stuffing. Mum always makes tons so I'm sorted for lunches for the following few days (stuffing sandwiches, heaven!)

And far, far too much Baileys.

Hmmm not sure why some of these are 'guilty' pleasures - seem just pleasures to me. Surely guilty pleasures are ones you wouldn't want other people to know about, so pigs in blankets don't count as there's nothing embarrassing about those!

If we're going 'proper' guilty pleasures then: -

* Sherry
* Sound of Music / West Side Story / Whatever musical is on
* Wearing a Christmas cracker hat during Christmas dinner

I'm trying to be good this year and not stray from my diet too much. Still I imagine I'll be getting a nice cheeseboard and some fancy chutneys. And a big fryup breakfast on xmas morning, with bubbly and OJ to wash it down :)

Miss santa :)

Watching kid open all his presents.
Thing i look most forward to though, is the Christmas dinner!
Then me and about 15 friends meet up every year about 8pm in pub and just have a awesome night.

Nuts...

I am asthmatic and nuts don't do my breathing any good, however at Christmas I play Russian roulette with them on a daily basis.

Talking of pigs in blankets, here is what we had for our flat xmas dinner a couple of weeks back. I think I'd potentially even get rid of the turkey for the xmas dinner and have more pigs in blankets instead!
