'Shortly' seems a bit optimistic. We saw US firmware go up a day before release, and if it's true what Nokia are saying, then we'll see UK firmware a day before release, in February...

Looks like Battery Level for WP8, but could be another I guess.

Cheers....though I'm loathe to install it a my battery is usually lasting a very fine 24 - 36 hrs so i don't want to start obsessing over it

It is Battery Level for WP8, and it's also very poorly programmed. Always locks up and doesn't update the live tile on a regular basis. :rolleyes:

It's annoying my Weather Flow locked screen as it keep silently blocked, and the only news / problem I can find is WP7.5 issue rather than WP8. Doing that turn off and load app again works... For a day or two then back to square one :-(

Don't have the lockups personally but yeah the updating of the tile isn't great.

I've placed mine in the living room next to where I sit. Pop phone on, it charges, take it off, game, internet, pop it back on, charge. Beautiful!

Night charging in bed has to be plugged in - in case I want to read and the battery is low, that's when wireless charging is not good.

Quick question, if you were to unlock an EE 920, can it then update with international firmware and bot have to wait for carrier approved versions? Or do you need to flash to the CV_GB firmware as well?

I'm going to be flashing straight to the Belgian firmware when I get home. Tutorial on wpcentral.

I guess Plex would do that. I've only used it for videos, you should give the trial a go.

For the Portico update. On Navi there is Portico updates for Belgium, Swiss Orange and Egypt and Libya but nothing for anywhere else. All these roms have English on anyway so everything should work fine.

This, the camera fix is vital for me as Im off to Barcelona for xmas. Just flashed the phone to the Belgian Proximus version - all seems OK, phone booted up, restored from backup and set localisation to UK

This was an unlocked german phone that had been flashed to generic UK software and then again to this new version...
