i played well in beta and now tht the game is relised i am playing shocking lol i am going to give it another bash tonight like but atm i am feeling Meh about the game where as in beta i was like WOW :o lol

Last night we set up shop next to the NC warpgate whilst the VS zerg was trying to take a tech. 6 double bursters and tank mines gave anyone coming near grief until we were overwhelmed, was a lot of fun.

Well to be fair, it's not much more than a game would cost nowadays. So if he enjoys it that much, then i can see why he wants to support it aswell as himself! :)
 
Also there's a discount on vehicles loadouts, managed to kit out my tanks finally.

Also bought the Stalker for my infiltrator, tried it out ages ago and really liked it, finally gives me a reason to play the class. Rather then just sit on a ridge for 1/2 hour. :p
 
Just bought some myself, damn you SoE and your F2P ways! :p

I enjoy the game immensely though and can see the sort of technical challenge it must be to create an FPS on this scale. Spent about £50 on the game overall now, think Ill leave it at that for the foreseeable future. Still enjoying it though and can see myself putting many many hours over the next few years!

They should make a DayZ clone on this immense game engine they have, I bet that would be darned epic. :)

Where did you get yours from in the end?

I picked up two from someone on Reddit, came to £19.95 after paypal fee's of £1.43 or something like that!

Still much cheaper than buying directly from SOE.
 
Loaded up 18000 from walmart cards (reddit) and then impulse purchased another 3000. Well if i do go off the game theres always everquest next!
 
went on miller server this monring

my god it was dead! 3% nc on one map, 14% on another and 40% on amerish and even on amerish was hard to come across some enemies. never seen a server so dead. 3% was shocking warpgate was empty, i quickly flew to a point, hacked terminal spawned sunderer, deployed it. got 1 person spawn on me XD

ahh well on brightside i bought 6k sc this morn

Also is the illuminated helmets worth it / any good in what way do they illuminate?
 
Do you mean the illuminated skull helmets (they have glowing eyes) or the Apex helmets (not 100% but think they have glowing bands on the top). Either way seems like a nice target for the enemy at night :p
