Weave has just been updated. Quicker on WP8, double wide titles and "read to you" feature for those who cant be bothered reading or wanting the latest article, read to you whilst driving.

My phone came from Clove and I am trying to register for the free wireless charger on nokiafreecharger.com

Obv i dont have a unique code so the field is blank. On entering my IMEI ID and hitting submit I am getting this:

"Invalid IMEI code entered - please check the code carefully and try again – REMEMBER you must wait 14 days from the date of purchase before you can register online."

Is there anyone else who has a problem or is it just me and the error is actually for the missing unique code? I have checked the code about 3-4 times, on the box and the phone...

Isn't this a uk only thing, so clove (thats the one which is bringing in phones from aeU isnt it? )phones are not part of the deal and you won't get it.

Or have you waited 14 days.

I didn't wait 14 days, I cheated with an earlier date but still got it after the 14 days wait, but they didn't flag as issue. Check your IMEI. I did it without unique code either.

Clove is a UK site and is the only one in UK selling unlocked GB firmware. Yes I waited 14 days.

I suspect they are selling imported phones where they flashed the GB firmware on it themselves. Didn't people say their boxes appeared to have been opened?

Not that it matters in the end as you'll have a brilliant phone regardless; but I think it means the IMEI isn't valid for the free offer.

On a related note. I received my unlock code from fonefunshop today (actually they sent two codes, but only one worked) so now my phone from P4U is fully unlocked and running the GB firmware.

Awesome! Now... a question because I'm planning on taking this deal tomorrow... will a T-Mobile sim work in that phone?

Hi everyone, long-time lurker here. Just bought the Nokia 920 with 20% off from EE, complete with free charging plate and headphones, so wanted to say thanks for the tip about this deal, as wouldn't have known about it otherwise :) was impatiently waiting to see if I could get get a cheaper unlocked or an O2 one if available next year, preferably in another colour, but this deal was good enough to tempt me!

EE are obviously still confused - but thanks to the info I've got from this forum, I was able to argue with them that a) yes the phone was available for them to sell as PAYG, not just on contract as they said at first, and b) yes the wireless charger was free with a PAYG handset, not just with a new contract as they tried to tell me! So for anyone else going into an EE store and being told they can't sell these phones as PAYG, just ask them to try scanning the phone anyway - the same with the wireless charger.

Looking forward to getting home and playing with the phone before going out for Christmas drinks later this evening, so I hope to contribute more on here once I know a bit more about it!

Cheers everyone :)

Statement released from Nokia today:

The Nokia Lumia 920 will continue to be available through EE, Orange, T-Mobile and Phones4U."

Looking for a decent alarm app with clock in lock screen for when in bed.

Also where do you get the nfc labels from? Want to use them to switch to this when on charge so i can replace my current dock from my iphone.

Gutted turn out my screen bleed got a lot worse this morning so going to have to get it repaired, just wondering which would be the best route to go?

I purchased it from EE on payg about a month ago.

Got the Bodyguardz screen protector today, don't bother with them as they are ****e, I know they are a matt finish but don't fit very well, and diffuse the screen badly..are their ANY good screen protectors outhere that work with these screens right?
