I'd highly recommend this series. Not THE BEST THING EVER. But certainly excellent! And well well worth your time.
I've never watched A Game of Thrones. What am I missing?

Well enjoying the show is reliant of enjoying the story of the books.
I for instance don't because I find reading them to be like trudging through a swamp whilst being shouting at by annoying ass holes who hate me, each other and themselves. This is assuming they can rip themselves away from their busy schedules of plotting, scheming, whining themselves inside out or killing each other for completely arbitrary reasons as a result of some plot and/or scheme.
The show is very good through, visually it is stunning and the acting is mostly great so definitely worth watching even on the off chance you aren't as bitter towards the series as me.

Arguing that my opinion is incorrect by countering with a 'probably' false belief that is now popular opinion so therefore isn't true while trying to argue that the popular opinion is appraching truth would indeed make it overload I expect.

I stand by my opinion, it's not that great a show but it is watchable, telling me I am wrong because I don't agree with the popular opinion is just ridiculous.

She really isn't all that.
BSG is ****ing sweet. So it Game of Thrones. I love them both hard right in the face. I want them both in and around my mouth.

Would've enjoyed the show more if they didn't keep changing who lives and dies etc...
The books are great, but you have to admit there are a couple that just drag on (see what I did there?
) It's like the author's treading water while deciding how he's going to get where he's going. Still a quality piece of work and I'm looking forward to the next book/series.
Just doubt that George R. R. Martin is going to live long enough to complete it sadly...

I quite agree. I watched all of series 1 and the first 4 or 5 episodes of series 2 before I decided I just couldn't be bothered anymore. Just didn't do anything for me, and I am quite a fan of the fantasy genre.
Always strikes me as humorous when people say "it's the best show ever". If all you're interested in is bad language and soft porn, you could just watch some .... soft porn. I'm sure there's probably even a Game of Thrones style adult movie out there .... and if there is, it's equally probable that it's far better than GoT.

She went to a friends school, her facebook page really highlights how good Film/TV makeup is...
Still, probably wouldn't say no.
Edit: White hair suits her a lot more than her natural colour.
Also, its an excellent series, and an excellent series of books too. Watch and read!
