Is it me or this game utter pants?

The graphics and physics are terrible, the map is difficult to navigate I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, where are the objectives after speaking to someone!? And seriously, WTH is this bright haze all about!?

I am really annoyed at myself for falling for it and parting with my hard earned on this one, after completing Arkam City it really is a poor effort of what could have been an interesting game

DEHR is a far superior game, trust me its worth a fiver

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks Dead Island is terrible, thought I was missing something

i think its better played in co op mode with some one as playing it alone is dire.

I played with someone I knew and it was a LOT more fun, I'd rather play single player than with random plebs though.

i dont think its that bad tbh. Its similar to just cause 2 in the way you can fall in and out of it very easily. Its pretty good to spend 30 mins on here and there

I liked it, completed most of it solo and last few levels/missions whatever with a friend.
Had a lot of fun just exploring and driving about looking for stuff to do.

I didn't think the graphics were that bad.

I liked the game the only issue I had is that it is WAY too short

It might be OK if you can tolerate that painfully awful console control pace. I have a mouse and keyboard, so please make use of that fact developers!

What im wondering is, how do you stop yourself from falling from it? especially when the developers don't release a demo, reviews dont seem to do the trick either, because many of them are 8/10 or 80% ... this game barely scraped a 5 or 6/10 IMO.. so what can you do...

I got to the city, ended up with a load of side quests (that took ages to get to) and gave up. Got pretty boring.

I've started using siites like Onlive & Gaikai - they let you try the game for 30 mins or so for free, which allows you to get a moderate feel for the game (bandwith permitting)

Single player I didn't enjoy enough to continue past 5 minutes. But multiplayer with friends I'm finding is great fun. Especially trying turn thugs into raisins by hacking off limbs.

Right first off, this is a superb Zombie game however I have a very annoying problem. I game with two screens and always when I get into a battle with a few zom's my game minimizes and I end up dead, this is due to my mouse behind the game moving onto my other screen. I cannot find in the options if there is a mouse lock thingy so was wondering if anyone had a work around for the problem? cheers !

I just tried to purchase Dead Island - GOTY Edition, thinking I would get a spare copy of Dead Island, as I was about to purchase it gave a warning saying I woudn't get a spare copy.

Seems like total robbery Steam not letting people with just Dead Island, purchased last year unable to aquire the download content for a reasonable price.
