looking to get a desk can anyone recommend me one just nice a simple no fancy crap
i was looking at the FREDRIK Desk


not sure if i can fit my case corsair 500r and 24in monitor onto the desk

I have the FREDRIK, it's a great desk. I can't see you having and issues with fitting a 24" monitor and a 500r on it. I can fit a 22" Portrait - 24" Landscape - 22" Portrait monitor setup on mine.
Make sure you get the larger version of the desk though obviously.

MSTRBKR, what speakers are they? I currently have some dark wood ones, and they look rather naff with my white desk.

They are Audioengine A5. Not very well known, but they are the best active speakers you can buy in the price range, despite what Bose or other 'big names' may try and sell you.

They have replaced the A5 with A5+ now. They're about £300.
