Which game is best and why?
I've only played WarZ so wondered if the Arma2 mod was similar or is one bestter than the other?

What are the differences in gameplay etc?

Comments appreciated, as I see Arma2 on sale for £12.49 so wondered if it was worth getting when I already own WarZ.

I've only played DayZ, but I've heard a lot of bad things about WarZ. There was a similar thread I saw elsewhere (can't remember where) and DayZ was the winner by quite a bit.
 
It probably is a good idea to make this considering the mods keep saying to stop make a thread for this instead of talking about it in the main threads.

Yeah this will end badly lol, will end with the goon dishing out his facebook profile as per normal. I play both but WarZ is a hack fest right now, they need to bring out the private servers. This should be made into a poll ;)

Oh please I am not getting drawn into an argument, your comments are trolling and i've already caught enough fish to last me a life time with the amount of bait i've put out!
 
I played both and have to say dayz is a lot better in terms of depth but the biggest problem I had with warz is the cash shop it ruins the point of the game
 
I wish there was another option tbh. DayZ had a long list of problems with it too - sure the standalone is on its way, but I am not convinced that will deliver either.

The dayz mod itself has come along way.

In the last few months a lot of community driven fixes have been implemented to make the whole experience so much better.

But obviously still loads of problems to be ironed out.
The clunkiness in particular is really frustrating :(

If they sort out the clunky controls, hacking and stupid stuff like breaking bones in doors etc then standalone we be awesome for me.
 
At the moment neither. I am interested in dayz standalone and if its a fully polished game but thats been pushed back from what I know.

Warz... just no. Even if the game was ok I couldn't bring myself to hand over the money to those devs. Just search steam and warz and find the devs 'appology' and you will see what I mean (hint: it was everyones fault but theirs)

Same here. Was going to grab ArmA but when I heard it was going standalone I thought I'd just wait it out. Hopefully they'll iron out all the bugs by then...

I've heard nothing but bad things about WarZ, so I wouldn't touch it with a barge poll :p
