Best Sonic Game? (From the Sonic Steam Bundle)

If you could only choose 1 Sonic game to play (or buy) from the collection, what would it be?

Includes 15 items: Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine™, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast™, Sonic Adventure 2, SONIC ADVENTURE 2: BATTLE, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic CD, Sonic Generations, Sonic Generations - Casino Night, Sonic Spinball, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode I, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode II

Its on sale currently, but I dont fancy buying the lot.

Think the last time I played Sonic was back when Sonic 2 came out for the Megadrive
The games that came out after that I haven't played, so I have no idea if the the 3D ones or the recent episode 4/Generations titles are any good.

Sonic CD is well worth it too

And Sonic Adventure 2, just picked that up myself. Sonic Adventure 1 is the Dreamcast version so it runs with a boarder round the screen

Sonic and Knuckles was my favourite. You could put Sonic 3 into the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge and it became a new game.
