*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I've never noticed a charging issue I guess that's because the tablet lasts all day and I mainly only charge it at night.

I would say the black levels are average to good for a tablet but I do think colour and contrast wise the ipad screen is probably better. I think the screen could definitely do with more saturation.

I wish we could have a tablet with the same kind of colour and contrast as a desktop monitor.

so with the current stock issues is there any real alternative?

I see the note 10.1 is getting some sales, however I don't want to spend a lot of money on a sub par tablet (in comparison to the nexus) whilst I wait for the Nexus.

I guess it depends how long it will be before they are in Stock, you probably have to take into account how other tablet prices will be dropping too. Difficult decision but I could recommend going for something like the note now. You may even end up sticking with it. The only real thing the nexus has over it is the screen res, which is fantastic but it's not the be all and end all.

It's probably a question for another thread though as it depends on what you will be using the tablet for.

Its quite shocking that it is still out of stock. this tablet came out in around november? nearly 2 months.

:(

XDA reporting that the 16GB/32GB are now available on the US Google Play Store so we can't be too far behind.

CES is next week so I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy any current tablet as there's bound to be a ton of announcements from Samsung et al about new devices.

It looks like an empty folder, I take it this is with the stock launcher? Have you tried removing the clock widget then removing that? Restarting the device? A different launcher like Apex/Nova?

Yeah, looks like a empty folder. Didn't even know you could make empty folders, no idea how I did it.
This was on stock launcher.

Changing the launcher and going back again seems to have fixed it.
Thanks
