Pic: Your desk...RIGHT NOW

This will be the tidiest that it will ever be.

Some of these setups are too tidy and would make me feel twitchy, I like to keep my desk slightly unorganised. Not messy just not so tidy it looks like you have OCD.

also @ Skyfall, what sound system do you have there? the control for it looks very nice, and I really could d owith a new dound system :) (Plus your headphone stand looks pimp lol)

On Friday the entire house was this...

A few more days to go then until everything is sorted out.

Hehe lovely, I take it you just moved to Canada then? ...I intend to myself in around 3 years time. Out of interest which company did you use to ship your stuff over and I am guessing that is a 20ft container there? ...also if you don't mind me asking, and if you do feel free to say so ...but what sort of cost would I be looking at to ship a 20ft container over to Canada? ...as you can probably tell I haven't got around to looking into that part yet. My uncle did it over 4 years ago now only her had a 40ft container, but prices change of course so I thought I'd ask someone who seems to have done it recently.

We used White & Co. They were fantastic UK side. Their Canadian contractors were good, but not a patch on the overall service in the UK.

It was £4.5k for a 20ft container to Ontario, including insurance and 8 weeks storage in the UK. Seeing as it would have cost at least triple that to rebuy everything new, we thought it was worth the price.

UK end helped us finish packing the large items and wrapped\boxed everything outstanding, including my flightcases. :D

Nothing was damaged on the trip either.

Highly recommended, even though their quote was one of the cheaper ones.

Thanks for responding, that was some useful information :)

Finally got it the way I want it. Plenty of space to work, just need some drawers for underneath it now and some cable ties to deal with the mess behind the computer and monitor. :p

Nice choice of keyboard, the only thing that lets it down is your choice of mouse.

Get the Logitech Performance MX, there's a good lad :D
