Suprise me!

Ok so order placed for the CPU Still browsing mobo. Sabretooth looks good... Also a nice 7950 to go with it . Guess i'll buy parts weekly and just buy the board last to stop me from doing a half assed upgrade. Watercooling? Go on then :P

Only trouble with that is you are paying out for postage all the time :( and that money could be spent on parts instead. If you cant buy everything at once then fair enough.

Yea I got around 120 quid a week to be able to flutter away or save. My savings are locked so cant dip into that. I could go finance but the apr is crazy and don't like the thought of being tied in. So ill spend 120 a week on parts. Granted some parts are more than that but a few days over wont hurt. So i5, 7950, mobo and water cooling etc will be just the ticket. Might even make a build thread. I'm guuessing water cooling your gpu is auto warranty void?

That's a good price James for sure! But I want to hit more than 4.2 and I feel the mobo would hold back so decided to save for a sabretooth and looking to water cool the chip

You only pay interest on finance if you choose 36 Month or 48 Month payment terms. There is also a Buy now pay in 12 months option where you would pay no interest as long as you pay the balance at the end of the agreement.

Hmm Will look into that but it would prob be an excuse to add more hardware because i "can" :D :p Would rather spend what i can afford at the time , Im self employed you see and this time next year might be diffrent!

Yes the temptation would be immense :D It can be a good way of getting a good system in one go though, but you do have to be strict with yourself and make sure you put enough money away each month to pay for it at the end so as to avoid any interest.

Yea Its all about money managing for sure!

But i think im going to settle on
I5 3570k
7950
sabretooth mobo
some form of watercooling
and a ssd drive for sure!

Rest like psu, ram , monitor and case is all fine to carry it into the new build so some pennys saved there!
