lower benefits for Northerners and longer school days

Having lived in Burton myself in the past I guarentee you live in a hole by comparison. :)

Enjoy the lovely scutty, filthy north - you are entirely welcome to it :)

I don't live in Burton. I live out in the country side.

You will find my post FULL OF FACTS

It is cheaper to live up north
It is cheaper to buy food up north
It is cheaper to buy fuel up north
It is cheaper to purchase utilites, gas water and electric up north.

Ergo an entirely factually correct post. You northerners just dont like facts that you have it easy yet still make a hash of it.

No its not

Go look on the british gas website, Its tarrif dependant not county dependant.
a lot of the fuel is more expencive up north or similarly priced. Depending where you shop and what you buy the price of food is also the same/very simmlar.

Its the price of "non essentials" that differs and should not be taken into account for benefit purposes.

And yet other people in the thread state the exact opposite, so which group are lying?

They can't both be right.

I go from my own eyes from what I see on garage forecourts and supermarket shelf's and the prices are the same give or take a few PENCE.

Stating facts that Northerns dont like isnt trolling. Just because you cant cope with living in a hole isnt really my problem.

Gas and elec prices are not only Tariff dependant, they ARE regonalised.

are you trying to win the award for most RTMs in a thread??

how old are you, 12:rolleyes:

I work all over the country and let me tell you FOOD AND PETROL/DERV are NOT cheaper up north.

I've lived in various parts of the country over the years and the only place I found it any different to anywhere else to any great degree in terms of cost of living was slap bang in the middle of cities regardless of what part of the country they are in. Living in Somerset, Warwickshire or Cumbria is much of a muchness in terms of the overall outgoings even if specifics are different. Only place where I had a significant increase in cost of living was while living in SE12.

For the love of my country I can only hope these Tory imposters do field an election manefsto like this.

I will actually jump with joy and yelp with glee. This has been a major argument in the No campaign, universal benefits that are autofed to regions linked to labour market conditions... just as long as you aren't one of those cheap and nasty Northerners.

I suspect, like regional pay in the civil service, it will end up proving an absolute myth and go nowhere when they are proved wrong.

They are in a difficult place, granted, but even sniffs of this sort of sentiment is only going to compound their challanges outside safe seats.

What is the source of your information other than Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels.

Enjoy your holiday have a shandy and chill out with the same benefits as others get.

I will enjoy my country side view, my nice big house, my nice plot of land and my nice northern village.

Well yes but that's what others have said but for the opposing viewpoint, how is anyone else to know who is actually being truthful about it?

Probably old enough to be your dad! RTM away, only the northern mods will give a dam because only the northern members have a problem with the facts

Obviously you are wanting more money for more glue to sniff from your benefits well unlucky.
