Hi m8,

It would help if you could tell us what your price limit is so that we can tweak it accordingly.

Nice case that takes ATX mobos (The T1 is pretty poor but it is dirt cheap), modular PSU, 1TB HDD (going smaller in size wont save you much cash), optical drive if you need it. Hope this helps.....don't forget to link your account for the free P&P ;)

thanks guys ur awesome and yeah i forgot the dvd drive :), both deals look good!

You are welcome. Case is a personal preference but it's something he will have for donkeys so makes sense to get something half decent. I used a 1TB drive with a very healthy amount of cache. The RAM is low profile and better CAS than the teamgroup kit. I did toy with using the Viper Mamba 1866mhz kit as it's also fairly LP and these kits overclock quite well. Look forward to seeing what you choose.......

Any questions, or heaven forbid problems come build day you know where to find us :)

Slight tweak and now he has a bluray drive so he can playback (with VLC) or rip\re-encode them to the large HDD for more convenient playback. Used the 1866Mhz RAM i touched on earlier, should OC to 2133mhz......the 2133mhz version of the RAM hits 2400mhz, so I don't see why it wont ;)
