Recommend me a PSU

Hi there folks!

I'm on my way to building my first PC and I think I may need to buy a new PSU..

I've purchased the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 Motherboard and Intel i5-3570k CPU and am going to purchase the GTX 670 but I read that it requires a 6 pin and 8 pin connector! My PSU only has 2 6 pin connectors which are used for my 8800GTX so I think this will be a problem. It's an 800w psu but I can't seem to find a model or make on it at all, and it was years ago when I bought it so I think it will think it will just be safer to buy a new decent one that will provide enough juice :)

So.... Could you please recommend me a decent PSU, I don't really need it for SLI as I doubt I will be doing that (I haven't got that much money ;) ) but I will be purchasing an SSD too in the future so it needs to be able to provide enough power.

Thanks in advance

I believe 2 x 6pin or 6pin + 8pin will depend in the card you choose.

The additional power requirements of a SSD aren't worth worrying about.

I can't see a PC of the spec. you describe needing anything over 500 Watts, probably less.

The existing PSU must have approval numbers on it somewhere. With a bit of Googling you could find out who actually manufactured it.

What's your absolute maximum budget? If you can stretch to ~£75 you could get a rather nice Seasonic.

Budget isn't too much of a problem so maybe I should purchase a slightly better PSU incase I do decide to use SLI in the future!
