Things that used to exist and now don't...

Those black sphere security cameras in department stores during the 80s that looked like the Interrogation Droid from Star Wars in that it was black with matt silver lenses and stripes, scared the pants off me :D

Weetaflakes cereal. Not Weetabix weetaflakes which are like cornflakes which became available after, these were small brown flaky things which came in a yellow bag. Loved em.

I used to go to Asda just to get these as well as the little cans of coca-cola owned drinks.

EDIT: Candyfloss flavour was intense.

Common sense
General courtesy (especially when driving)
People's word does not mean much these days - comes down to honour I guess

The ability for most young UK people to sound like they are from UK rather than from 'da getto'.

Hot and cold Ribena :D
One had chili in and the other must have had something similar to what you put in toothpaste because it gave your mouth that cold feeling.

Peoples integrity disappeared with the invention of facebook.

And I'm only 24, but I'm sure a housing market used to exist which was viable enough for young people to jump onboard a lot easier than it is today?

Global Hyper Colour Tshirts!

They looked great on girls :)

Wonder why you cant get them anymore. The original ones seem to last a good few washes before the effects wore off. Wish i hadn't thrown mine out now

If you live near a C&A, you are probably posting in some weird and freaky time warp, or you just live somewhere really ****. I am somewhat aware of what happened in a C&A, but I have never been inside. I was reminded of the classic logo when I saw it appear out of the deep metaphorical fogs of Székesfehérvár (!), Hungary. No-one goes in, no-one goes out. Or something.

What do you remember?

Yeah there 100's of those stores just in Spain alone, not sure about anywhere else but I thought they didn't exist anymore before I moved here.

Big red chewing gum

Luckily a shop here opened that sells nothing but imported sweets/treats from the US. Bloody expensive though...£7 for a box of lucky charms!

Wonkey donkey and Challenge Ant were the best things on Saturday morning TV.

Amazing :D

The things that hang down from the back of a car to stop people getting car sick.

I saw an old car with one on a few years ago and was flabbergasted. Loads of cars had then when I was a kid.
Earth straps. They did absolutely diddely squat and perhaps people realised they were being ripped off and stopped buying them.
