@Chanjy I wen't to bike-science had a look at the Legends, have a test ride appointment on Wednesday :)

Tried a few bikes out including the Look 675. Managed to get a couple of deals offered:
Look 675 White/Red Ultegra & Ksyrium Elites: £3.2k (Sell the Ksyriums for £400ish net total £2.8k)
Custom Matt Black/Fluro Yellow Dura Ace 9000 & my wheelset £3.9k including build

Awesome, let us know how it goes. I wanted a Legend bike last year but my budget meant that if I got the frame I'd have rubbish wheels and groupset, so I gave up. Still really want one though :p

Were the others at Epic cycles? Did you try the Supersix Evo with Di2?

I've got the Assos Winter Glove System but so far this winter I've not needed the liner or the lobster. I was using Rapha Winter Gloves but I found them too thick; after 30 minutes my hands would ache because it was an effort to hold the bar or use the brakes.

That's a pain. Mine just slip sometimes, not enough grip - don't inspire confidence if I'm out with the Club :(

Did an hour on the trainer this morning. My Garmin only recorded my moving time as 19 mins. Still registered the mileage though so I have an average speed of 48mph. WTF!

I think this might be my next bike if I can save a bit

My leather track mitts work great in the summer. Not in the winter though.

i don't wear gloves at all during summer, even these days when i go to gym i prefer taking fingerless gloves instead of my leather ones which i take when i go for longer rides.. london is a lot warmer compared to the rest of uk tho :D

First attempt on the roads with clipless pedals today. Only fell over twice so not too bad. Not convinced they offer any benefit yet as my times were no different to riding with flats.

I seriously need to improve my leg strength. I do a a lot of running and can keep a constant pace and heartrate going all day. I usually stick around 155-160bpm when running but can only average 130bpm when cycling. If I try and push harder my legs start to go. I assume the best way to improve leg stength is just to do more cycling?

Wilier Izoard XP - like this one. Bought 2nd hand last year - totally love it!

Wilier are nice. Your Wilier is lovely. My view is the CLX isn't going to be enough of an upgrade to justify the cost. There's a couple of beautiful Wiliers owned by guys in my Club I see at weekends - perhaps have a look higher up the Wilier range?

Perhaps something like this?

Not sure that Colnago will be a huge upgrade tbh. IMO you pay a big premium for the brand name that isn't justified until you get to the C59. Otherwise it's just a frame made by Giant and painted by Colnago!

IMO if you want a frame made by Giant, get a Giant - they make some really nice bikes and aren't quite as pricey :p
