Long story short, I complained about a neighbour singing loudly in my block of flats and since then it has gotten quieter but now most of my mail is being delivered opened.

It turns out he is a postman for a town nearby, but not my postman.

I thought it may be a coincidence, but this is the third time it's happen in a week, so I sent a complaint email to royal mail. I assume he's asked one of his friends to open my mail.

Anyone got any advice?

Report it to the Police and explain the situation. Opening mail is a criminal offence and if it is him, it's obvious he's snooping for any letters regarding the complaint.

Sounds like he has mental issues.

Clearly the postie who lives next to you is opening your mail.

Write a Cheque for £20 from your account but don't fill in any name details, put it in a letter addressed to yourself and seal it and leave it around. he will open it, take it, cash it.

Then call the police and he'll be nabbed for opening mail, theft probably cheque fraud and i'm sure they can throw a few more charges at him.

or confront the postie with your boxing stance!
(getting some use of this new image tonight!)

Put something through his door that makes it very clear that you know his game. Threaten his family and his pets. Write any message in the blood of an animal. Leave no finger prints and tell no-one. Apart from OcUK.

This is the only sensible way forward.

Come to a compromise and advise him that you no longer mind if he sings loudly, but only to songs by your favourite artist, Britney Spears.
