Alternative intel build for slightly more and would put you in better stead for games i would think?

this build also leaves you in great position to upgrade to i5 when moneys allow in future which would give a huge boost.

your build

cant see the point in specing a low end system with a high end cpu cooler seems that money could be spent elsehwere.

4gb ram will limit you in some games, such as planetside 2 i know hammers the ram, sometimes has me up to almost 6gb.

that case is out of stock, ive replaced with windowed version.

i would also check to see if that case can support the noctua fan as its a good sized fan. (i cant find its immeadiate specs on fan sized supported)

if you were dead set on getting that AMD build i would drop the fan to a lower spec and spend money on getting 8gb of faster ram.

I'd go with Hono's build. However, it depends on your budget. If say £380 was your max budget, then something like this may be more appropriate:
YOUR BASKET
1 x AMD A10-5800K Black Edition 3.80GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Quad Core Processor (AD580KWOHJBOX) £95.99
1 x Gigabyte F2A85X-D3H AMD A85X Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £64.99
1 x Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £59.99
1 x Corsair Carbide 200R Compact ATX Case - Black £49.99
1 x Adata XPG Xtreme v1.0 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17100C10 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (AX3U2133XC4G10-2X) £47.99
1 x XFX Pro 450W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £39.95
Total : £371.50 (includes shipping : £10.50).

And then adding a secondhand GTX 460/6850 when funds allow. Of course, I'd recommend an Intel builld - such as the one Hono specced - over a Trinity build. An i3 and a 7850 will run most games on high at 1080p.

Yes but there is no graphics card in this build. I want to play games out of the box if possible

Do you know what clock speed I can get my CPU up to with the stock fan?

not off the top fo my head no, but it wont be much more. if you look at hono's spec he managed to squeeze an i3 in. you wont need to overclock the i3 at all. it will handle games at its default stock speed.

Could you make homo's spec cheaper? I really don't care about the case

Consider yourself on the blacklist fella, you are not funny. I genuinely was trying to help and I would normally explain why I selected those parts but I can see from your posts here and on other threads you are just spamming to get free P&P.

I'll leave the other members to deal with your threads and poor sense of humour
