6core for under £600?

motherboard (atx / m-atx) has to match the case's supported form-factors (atx, m-atx). Simple as that.

As for case's max GPU length and the dimensions of each GPU,s it's all on the manufacturer's websites.

The Zalman z9+ accepts up to 290mm video cards.

7950 TwinFroz II : 261mm.
7950 DirectCU II : 11.8'' (30cm).
7950 WindForce 3 : 11.2'' (28.5 cm).

TP Link TL-WDN4800 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter

just bought one myself, also with VM 120mb and this is loads better and faster than the standard TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter version, had and tested both.

running win 7 pro 64bit, for the extra it's well worth it and it's cheaper now than what i paid for it, only using the standard VM new super hub box as well netgear what ever version it is

Home Premium OEM is perfectly adequate TBH. That's all I use.

Unless you need virtualisation, which Pro / Ultimate will make it slightly easier. And if you don't know what VM is, then you don't need it.

As for the Wifi 450 mbps, if it's faster, then sure that's always an option.

hey guys all set up *touches wood* build was really easy, took a bit of research and loads of newbie vids on you tube telling me how to screw things in not the really helpful stuff like what's wire is ground? black or red(no!) or green! and where not to plug in fans lol..

I've not connected my graphics card as I'm a bit worried about frying the motherboard? can I relax?

You can use the onboard graphics to boot up if you wanted to :)

its fine to bios, but noticing the 2x6pin connector GPU (HIS HD 7950 IceQ BOOST) to my 4pin + 24pin motherboard (asus p8z77-v lx) wondered if this is fine

Not sure what you are asking either. 24 pin connector and the 8 pin connector (which splits into 2x4pin) both plug into the motherboard. The GPU uses a 6pin connector which will probably be a 6+2 connector as some cards use 8 pin. Link below shows you different connectors.
