I am back in an R32.

After selling my previous 2004 MK4 R32 back in 2008, having owned the following since:

MK2 GTI
Honda S2000 GT
Audi B5 S4
Evo 9 GT
Passat TDI Estate

I was hankering for some mid-high performance german metal after having my JDM fill.

I decided on a MK5 R32, DSG.

It is completely bone-stock at the moment, but I have a large list of planned mods coming up. Ill keep this thread updated with progress.

For those who know of my Evo (saw the thread), this is how it looks at the moment (Facebook linked, sorry)

Ill post updates on the evo when we finish it. Picture is of real carbon-laid floor and gear-shift for drenth sequential dogbox.

Your missus looks unimpressed

Its because I had just bought a nice car, whilst her little clio still has a big ding in the side :D

no more sneak peaks of the outside of the evo?

What do you have planned and where is the thread?

No thread for what is being done to it. Essentially its being built as a time attack/endurance hybrid. I will get better pics, but imagine widebody evo9, full fia spec cage, fully forged engine with TT turbo and pushing 550/550.

too much vaseline on the lens...

Sorry, instagram image ;d

Me too Bluebear. Still, I love the MKV R32. Sound lovely and they're perfect in blue.

Are you still in Preston Wayne?

The R32 must be a good package if you've gone back to another?

Loved my first one. Love this one. The standard mk5 setup seems to have an over abundance of understeer but that could be the soft nature of the suspension setup coupled with the Achilles brand tyres fitted!

All that will be getting changed however.

Seems like you're going back in terms of 'quality' of car

You mean downgraded? Not sure how? I suppose it depends on what you mean by quality?

I do like these, seem like a good package. What mods you got planned?

What happened to the hybridzz?

The mod list is quite... substantial.

Ill be starting off with chassis/handling mods. Already got some KW V3's that my dad (gravityworks) is going to completely rebuild and adjust the valving on for me.

Complete polybushing and some bracing along with front and rear brake upgrade.

Nice car and definitely the colour to go for, sound great with a milltek.

Had a play with one and there no slouch either.
