I have always wondered exactly what WHSmith actually sells... Its just seems like a big newsagents.
The title says 'Books, eBooks, Stationery, Gifts & Cards' though!they have a website that screams "we don't know what we do either"

You have to be the only person in this thread who actually knows that it's "Maplin" and not "Maplins"
Sort of the opposite of this thread, but why are people quick to point out that mobile phone shops are doing well? Is this true? Admittedly I don't use my phone much, but I've never had to go into a phone shop in my life. I've always bought any phone related tech online. The phones on the shelf aren't even real so it's not like you can go in and try them (apart from size wise).
Why do people keep mentioning Argos? They're one of the few growing companies, and even more importantly their business model adapts very well to digital format.
