I don't think it was fake tbh. But there was a lot of justification for faking it in order to help end the cold war. So at the end of the day only the few will ever know the answer.

Open question but why is it that anyone who disagrees with a conspiracy theory is a sheep? Does it not detract somewhat from any argument when that's the go-to response to someone who doesn't think the same? For what it's worth people being called nutters for questioning the orthodox theory isn't much better.

However one thing that people suggesting that man didn't land/walk on the moon usually don't bother to try and answer is "if it were faked then why didn't Russia expose this?". It's not as if the CCCP and the USA were best buddies at that point - the propaganda value alone would have been immense to catch the corrupt capitalists in a lie of that magnitude...

if you had any decent evidence then you could post it... but there isn't anything decent to support this conspiracy and you know already that all the current conspiracy arguments will just get ripped apart and you'll end up looking silly

You are exaggerating certain things to denounce the other side, that does nothing as well.

No one would deny the unusual reality of the bbc presenter saying the 7th building went down, while it was quite clearly not.

Everything else seems fine, but that was just off.

Who said it annoys me? I said it wasn't worth debating on here. It's okay for someone to infer I'm a nut job but I can't defend myself and say that people who can't see the holes are sheep?

Like I say, I've not watched the video, but it's not hard to believe that NASA could have kept whatever technology secret to use for their own gains.

So they had advanced computers capable of excellent CGI but not capable of calculating spaceflight trajectories?

They're not if they have openly researched and questioned whether or not there is any merit whatsoever in the conspiracy.

Most people singularly fail to do so, they just brush it off as an annoyance. Cognitive dissonance at its best.

It seems that at the height of the Cold War the Soviets were happy to lie about the Americans landing on the moon, the Australians too. Obviously they were in on it as well as any astronomer who has bounced a laser off the reflectors left up there.

Seems to be an awful lot of people in on it...

Tech simply was not there IMHO. This is my belief and of no less merit than anyone else's. No one here actually knows better either which is the lol factor.

Do you guys actually realise just how primitive computers were back then ?, and just how complex the mission would have been.

I also cannot for one second see why no one has visited since... Other than they needed the studio time for Star Wars :-)
