lol im afraid tim the reason why skills are so hard for me to do is i have always played with the buttons changed so my skill button is RB but this means when running the way i hold the pad means i cant run and press RB aswell to skill because my player then stops running and i lose the ball.

didnt mean to offend with my post tim but as you say i played out of my skin last night beating you 3 times out of 3 with your superstar line up against the likes of cahill,milner and miralles lol

just upset me a little you took the shine off my enjoyment messaging me at the end with you score cheap ass cutbacks lol instead of your normal good games mate . :D although i could understand your rage as you prob wanted to end your night with a few easy wins so you could sleep well but it never happened :D
 
actually if someone could post a couple of very simple skill moves on here that i could try then i will

also tim you have to remember im a friggin old man now not a young kid with super reflexes.

i think you will find a lot of people dont skill

infact if tim didnt try so many skills and fancy moves all 3 games could have been over by half time

knowing that i cant skill i buy players with different attributes that fit my style,ive had fancy players with 5 stars and got battered every time

But, yep, apologies for the mini rage, had been a bad Fifa day and those ones did push me a tad :p ask Ps3ud0, I told him numerous times I thought I was playing your son as you were playing such a different game to your usual!

Anyways, let's put that to rest now, I guess diva owes me some rage soon, keep missing you moneybags!

Probably true, but I just want to try and incorporate them more & not play so 'bland' as it feels good when it does work!

nah was deffo me you was playing i think i just concentrated more ,the biggest problem i have is i tend to keep the x button (bring extra player over ) pressed and i lose so much shape and my forwards come back so when attacking i have nothing .

but last night i tried really hard not to use it so my team kept shape but i was amazed how decent cahill was his tackling was amazing and positioning.

also it meant i actually had 3 front men ready to attack instead of being on my 18 yard box

i really enjoy our games tim but your gonna have to just accept that to me a goal is a goal i see a cut back as passing back to a player the ball moving backwards.

but in a lot of cases my pass will be a sideways pass to an oncoming man who has found space .

just think how much it will improve your defending but tbh i though having silva and chiellini at the back they would have had it covered with there positional stats
 
The cutback is arguably an exploit of the FIFA code as the player doesnt have any control over the GK, who basically over commits himself and leaves the net open for the second attacker to score in an open net. If youre good you can cover it, but its no easy feat especially as the AI rarely puts your defence in a position to do so, you have to assume quite early in the move in the box that thats whats gonna happen.

No qualms doing it online against randoms, but its just etiquette not to abuse it while playing people off here. Ultimately the win means nothing as you dont get coins or anything, but its a great opportunity to play people who are gonna be better than most of the randoms and learn how to play better than to fall back on a crux.

Game earlier was... interesting :(

But actually have had a few games with that team and it just doesn't gel together at all. I'm pretty sure RvP and Robben don't get on IRL either - maybe it's engineered into the game code like Robben's tight shirt :p

looks like im gonna have to play randoms then cuz know everyone is gonna think im some kind of cut back king but im not i did score some nice goals a few headers a couple of nice finesse shots and a lovely goal which was a good few passes then a sweet lob into the net :(

ill try and vary it up a bit if i can but dont blame me when im losing and hulk out :D
