£3k PC Spec

**** me 3k for a gaming rig i have spent less than 700 pound on each of my 2 current build and both can runn any game on ultra 700 minus monitors, keyboard, mice, headset which i bought over time. at 3k you could asily do a crossfire or sli with watercooling and 3 monitors on a 3770k for an extra 600 odd quid you get a 12 but the 8 core will do just fine both the piledriver and 3770k never go over 60% cpu usage currently just using chrome i am using 1% of my cpu there is no need to spend 900 on a cpu

Neither of your computers nor my computer will run Arma II maxed out, Crysis 1/Warhead maxed out with smooth frames, Metro 2033 maxed out, or (strangely) Euro Truck Simulator 2 maxed out.

Battlefield 3 is probably the most demanding game we can 100% max out with decent frames in 1080P.

actually i can run metro 2033 maxed out and arma 2 maxed out

I can't put up with anything under 55FPS. 30FPS is like something from the depths of hell that needs to go back there. Even the GTX680/7970 can't tame metro.

It wont do 55 but my 6970 manages between 30 and 40, i would show you but fraps doesnt include the fps when it screenshots

Fair enough, sorry I should have made my initial statement more clear, I only play games at 55FPS+ and drop settings accordingly until I reach that frame rate, I forget that not everyone is as fussy as me
