Maybe it's just me but Sturridge has been awful for me as an ST in my fitness squad. I think maybe he is just a bad solo ST. Any suggestions ? I've tried Tevez hated him, I've tried Poldoski (great CF) but bad solo ST, Torres hated him, Ba hated him.

I have Young and Ben Afra as LF/RF. So I need a BPL ST who would work kind being solo a lot of the time. Young and Afra have score tons of goals for me but whoever is in the ST position just seems to be complete lackluster and only ever get deflection goals or the "decent" goal. I was thinking of trying Suarez but I'm not really sure.
 
People seem to rave over Balotelli a lot, could try him?

Edit: I've played Aguero as a sole striker with Hazard and Di Maria either side of him as LF and RF, and he scores plenty.

To be honest I've found Sturridge OK in my 433 but would agree that Tevez, Podolski, Torres & Ba aren't great!

I've found Suarez is awesome with Hazard & IF Milner supporting him at LW & RW and can also recommend Balotelli! I had Aguero for a few games but found him a bit small for pinging crosses in to!
 
Might give Suarez a go. I've used Balo in a CF position before and I quite liked him there. I don't really want to splash out on Aguero as he is still selling for ~90-100k on PS3.

If Suarez doesn't work out then onto Balo :D
 
How many teams do you guys run at once? I've just noticed that I effectively have 6 different squads I can use, and think that I'm probably running 2 too many (especially as I'm only swapping between 2 main squads at the moment). Just wondering whether to sell off the likes of Aguero/Hazard/Toure/Bale/Kompany to rack in a few hundred k, or keep them and sell off my much cheaper Bundesliga and Ligue1 squads.
 
Personally I've got a BPL and Brazil squad each in 433 so I can swap them about easily and a 41212 Serie A squad that's far more fun to use! :D
 
I only try and keep two teams at a time. That way I always have one really good team and one pretty good team as a fitness team.

The only exception to that is my Silver Belgian pro league team. I play them just for fun every once in a while.

Otherwise. I try to sell off as many players I can that I am not using so I can input more coins into whatever team I want to use. That said I still keep a hold of IF's if they are "goodish" ones as I tend to buy them when they come out and sell on later when generally their price goes up. I bought two IF Miccoli's when they first got released. Each one cost me about 50k. Now to buy him you are looking at ~150k :p Might sell them on eventually, but he is a pretty awesome IF card so I might hold on to one in case I decide to make an Italian team or Serie A team again.
 
I tend to just have the one main team (Although I do have a 2nd 4-3-3 Lee Cattermole team which never gets used :D).

I don't rotate or use fitness teams, just waste money on fitness cards instead :(

433 or 4321 which do you prefer?

I have only really used 2 squads before but for the first time I have 3. I have my Bundies/BBVA/Brazil team, the BPL team and I have kept my frenchies in case I fancy something different.

For me, yes they're too slow. I like my forwards to be at least 85+ when it comes to pace, especially as so many people now have the quicker CBs in their teams.

Not used 4-3-3 myself so can't compare the two, but I do like my 4-3-2-1 formation.
 
It appears the FIFA Gods have decided it's time for me to change my team, just feels horrible now, can't pass, everyone is sluggish, keeper is woeful, defenders can't keep up with anyone. It's great when this just suddenly happens.

Casillas was pretty crap for both of us last night, both scored goals we shouldn't have and wouldn't have against Buffon!
