Someone stated a couple of pages back they used him, cant remember who or what they said but theres a post somewhere :p

Im the same, I have 185k at the moment but I just keep buying players to improve. Just debating on who to buy for where, will see what UP cards appear as I was thinking Mata but think he will be a likely candidate

Yeah he was awesome, he feels nice to use this year, not super fast but 70 pace is good enough as a front 2, I've been playing him next to Hernandez/Mirallas and he's pretty good. He likes to try volleys and diving headers a lot. :D

Tim thanks for the effort for that team but it would play truly awful surely?

The team I have plays perfect w=once you set your overall team to defensive which keeps the fullbacks in check and lets the rest do their stuff.

EDIT TBF Essien isn't normally in there, Alonso is but he got a red card in the previous game! Besides that card blue seems to help me get out of any bother:D

Yep gg, though must admit my head went down after the 3rd headed goal in a row :eek: Grr im usually ok at defending crosses/corners. One of them games were nothing went right, although I just couldn't get space at all in the midfield ;)
 
Don't you hate it when you lose a game you don't deserve to lose :( played someone last night and when his team loaded up the first thing that come to my mind was pace abuser. He had the fastest players in midfield and upfront. Decided to play counter attacking and build up play as I expected a lob through gameplay from him. He certainly didn't disappoint me and practically played a lob ball from all over the pitch even from defence. I had my chances but strikers were off target and I lost the game in penalties :(

I completely bossed possession 70:30 and dictated the game play but didn't get the rewards.

To an extent maybe, but my usual playing style involves walking it in most of the time anyway, I don't tend to longshot or cross :D

I did get the volley captured, but as I said to Tim last night, I had the settings wrong so the videos last night weren't the best quality - good job I was having a bad night!

I think Gabby is getting sold today, getting fed up getting the ball to him and not being able to chop....going to get Remy in and possibly make another five star skill team on the side :| Tim, it might be time to sell Xavi :<
 
Thats fine mate, I've offloaded veryone expensive last night, just yell and I'll transfer him back over to you, played with the Brazil team last night after rageselling the big names, 50k team, 2 easy wins and more fun! :)
 
Just wasn't getting along with things, wasn't enjoying myself as much and was trying too much to make "uber teams" back to fun ones with a atsndout player or 2 where I can for now I think.

Wellliton/Pato may be a bit immoral, but they'll do me for now!! :p
 
on another note - how do you do these things.....

when running down wing suddenly cut inside leaving defender for dead?

outside box and loads of defenders infront - i pass ball around and cannot break through or if i shoot it gets blocked or stolen of my player

Pepe in defence is a no no. Diego and modric while good would be far more attacking than the mid 3 I have. Alonso is good sat in the middle, ramires with some pace for the mid and kaka there for some creativity and chem.

Kaka as a st really? I can't see that working at all

I just generally see 4321 as a CCM for defensive, outside cm's for attacking & playmaking, and thats worked well on my other teams. Also its not really more attacking at all, you are losing a H/L and H/H for 2 H/M's who will roll back a bit more than Kaka did and not be as tired as Ramires ALWAYS gets within 10 minutes!

Whats wrong with Pepe? Granted, he's a homicidal maniac, but he is great in the air, good solid tackles, always in the right place, whatcha got against the boy? :eek:?

Kaka as a false 9 ST would work really well imho, I think Sonny used him last year as the same role and he provided good dispatch to the RF & LF, and in honesty, his finishing is on par with most strikers!
