THQ broken up & sold off today

So, the creative assembly have the rights to Warhammer & Sega have the rights to Warhammer 40k.

Warhammer : total war may already be in the pipeline, so I wonder if Sega/Relic/Creative may do a Warhammer 40k : total war (as obviously Sega/Creative are also linked).

Got me in the mood for some serious Total Warrage right now!

But first, after imagining Warhammer: Total War my boxers need changing.

I've never really played the Total War games but a Warhammer 40k version does actually sound pretty cool.

Certainly sounds better than the alternative. A generic FPS or Third Person Shooter with a small number of characters from each race ><

Does anybody actually keep the THQ name or is that it?

Shame to see it finally end, but that's the current times i suppose.

Sega have Relic, with right to Warhammer 40k (not sure if they have the other GW IP's or not) and Company of Heroes

I'd assume it wouldn't transfer automatically with the studio and would revert to GW (though hopefully Sega would be able to negotiate for them easily seeing as they already have the fantasy license, and now have Relic as well).

THQ as an entity will cease to exist in a few weeks the company has been broken up and its assets sold off they are keeping a few staff to administer this process but after that it is over.

"No bidders for Darksiders developer Vigil Games nor its project “Crawler”."

Bye bye Vigil Games. No wonder this developer were cast aside, i cannot believe how badly the Darksiders games did.
