need a GPU

okay so i got given this build here but he forgot a GPU :(
now i need one that fits and unfortunately i know nothing and dont know what would fit or whats best so thats where you come in, i would like the cheapest one possible yet will still be good as im stretching my budget as is.

Who did that spec?

Theres a few things I dont like.

• DVD-ROM, a burner is a few £ more.
• There are three revisions of that motherboard, neither of them say they have support for that CPU.



• The case is nasty.

okay well im not to bothered about the case. and the dvd rom isnt important either, and okay can you recommend a different motherboard

Might help if we know what your total budget is, that way we could possibly put together a better build.
Do you have any components that can be reused or an OS?
Also, what will be the main uses for this new system?

Okay I recently did another thread and this build was quoted and I really like the 8 core and 16gb as it is mainly video editing and recording for YouTube. Ony small games like minecraft will be played, I only have a total of at tops £480. I have no spare parts so from scratch really
 
i dont understand why my motherboard will not fir my processor?

It will physically fit YES.

But if the motherboards BIOS doesnt recognize what the CPU is, then you will either have a board that wont start up or maybe will run oddly (reduced performance/speeds)

Right okay Thankyou I was looking at it and it seems to fit but okay that's where I was going wrong, Thankyou. I might have to save a bit more an look into the build posted above
