osmium or k90

hi all, i would like to buy a new keyboard for fps gaming and im torn between 2 keyboards >> http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-027-GI or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-002-CS&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=2107 they both look good, and tbh this will be my first mechanical so i want to get it right, anybody out there who has either of these, or is one better than the other in some way, look forward to reading your thoughts on this......cheers paul

I have both.

The Osmium is the better keyboard.

i must admit stulid, the osmium does look nicer...but... it looks HUGE, but i am swaying towards that one tbh, great thread on them both btw...cheers

cheers for that, size wise there isent a lot of difference, the k90 looks more expensive than the osmium, and tbh also looks better tbf, whats the lighting like on them both stulid (sorry for all the questions) is one better than the other?

The Osmium is brighter than the K90, its also more controllable as its on a dial, the K90 is Off,low,medium,high.

The updated Corsair, K100 I think, is much better than the K90. The new one has all mechanical keys. The K90 only has some. I found the switch from mechanical to dome type keys extremely annoying.

aaah i didnt realise there was a k100, i will have to have a look at that

actually i have just checked, there isent a k100, only k60 and k90 not sure if there is anymore tbh, unless its in the making, interesting though..i didnt realise that the k90,s keys were only partially mechanical

There is no K100, I think its to be the K95?

Yeah, not all of the K90 keys are mechanical, I show in the review/quick look which ones are.
