Is this ok for a first time gaming pc?

The H61 is lacking in features, such as USB3, SATA3 and it cannot overclock. Imo it's a waste getting an i5 on a H61 board as it's performance will be hindered.

You don't want to be getting pre-build crap from ebay man....you never know if its going to work and what warranty you have.
Also you want a decent power supply, not a no-name thing that will most likely blow up and fry all your components.

I'm looking at new pre built with warranty now

You really want a branded psu from the likes of XFX, Seasonic, Corsair etc. If it's a shop own label job (i.e OCUK battle series) then leave it well alone.

You need to say what brand the power supply is not the place your buying it from...
No matter what you do, you NEED a branded power supply from someone like Corsair, XFX, seasonic or something.
