Actors with disappointing Careers..

Yeah, but he's been stuck in B-movie hell for lord knows how long.
He plays himself in My name is Bruce and it's a parody of how crap his career has been since the Evil Dead era...

Glad he's back.

Pretty much the entire cast of Lost.

Michael Emerson in particular. Love the show or hate it his performance as Benjamin Linus was outstanding.

I thought that too - especially his scene in Lost where he's forced to dig his own grave and breaks down due to all the things he's done and that fact he feels "no one else will have him" I thought was a brilliant piece of acting. He's also one of the main protagonists in Person of Interest and he's pretty good in that as well.

To answer the Op's question the biggest one that springs to my mind would be:

Jason Statham and Vin Diesel have had successful careers, but I think they could both have achieved more in terms of the quality of their acting and the films they could have been in.

As for Mark Hamill... He's done well enough doing other things, not least voice acting.

Soul & Glaser from Starsky and Hutch, where did they go? I know David Soul had a few hit singles, but I can't recall much in the way of film or TV appearances from either of them or at least nothing particularly high profile other than David Soul in Salems Lot.

Mark Hamill is the Joker from Batman

Mark Dacascos is one my favourite "failures". His Capoiera (sp?) skills are immense (just watch "Drive", he's awesome), yet he's relegated to constant straight-to-DVD crud and finally... Iron Chef America.

I enjoyed Drive, been years since I watched it

He is absolutely fantastic in Person of Interest, which is one of the best godamn things on TV. Takes a little while to realise the wooden nature of one of the main characters is purposeful, but Emerson is bloody fabulous.

I always liked Cuba gooding jnr, was surprised he seems to have disappeared.

He is one of the best actors out there imo. Men of Honor was just brilliant.

Shame he never really got into any other big films, though he has chucked plenty of low budget films out.

Danny Trejo

in what way ? he never really started till he was older because of his life of crime and then has a career consisting of many many many not really great films a few great films and plenty of great TV and video game cameos ?

not done bad for himself really...

Brad Dourif. He has had a lot of work over the years, but the good films he has been in are few and far between. I think he is a really good actor but he appears in a huge amount of awful movies.

I like him, but he's done to many bad b-movies.

While he hasn't had a bad career the films he's done have been pretty poor. My suggestion is Slyvester Stallone.

His film Cop Land is absolutely amazing, he's brilliant in it as well. I wish he'd do more acting like that instead of the dross he usually comes out with :(
