Gaming machine under £500

Hi All,

Need a gaming set up and have this so far ....

I would prefer to get a new case as well but ideally want a split case like the Antec p183.

I dont mind using B Grade components but im not upto date with the current config for mobo and RAM to get the 4.5 clock on the 3570K CPU.

could stretch this to £550 if its not possible.

Any help would be awesome.

Do you have any parts of PC that you can reuse CD drive, HDD ect?

I have HDD for storage but need/want a SSD for the OS and games, never used CD/DVD drive as mostly boot everything off usb drives.

I have screen, keyboard and mouse as well.

Ideally was looking for a dual chamber / split case as I have old water cooling kit so potentially wont need a CPU fan as well.

In terms of RAM, no need to worry as most options are viable for DDR3 mobos.

For ram have a look at

Pretty sure this stuff is alright.

Don't worry about RAM clocks and CPU clocks, the CPU will clock to 4ghz easily.

+1 some of the best ram you can get i have it in both my amd and intel builds and it works great

I have decided to ditch the idea of a new GFX card and go with another 460GTX with my current one as I have got it dirt cheap. Can someone recommend a spec that will include a PSU for this as well?
