I think once this is done you should release his name and address and any info you have about him OP so those here could perhaps extract a bit of revenge if the justice system does not.

I was a bit dubious when it appeared he was giving a blow by blow account of the police activity. He has now cleared that up.
 
If they printed the original burglary and it matches his prints, if might be an even better outcome.

Reality is he would get community service or similar.

I personally don't see the big deal with Cerberus it's just a remote access tool like PCAnywhere is for the PC, or remote desktop, but on mobile, i.e wireless but then we have wireless PCs so it's not exactly a revelation.

Whilst I was talking to the police who eventually got my phone back (whilst we were trying and waiting for the phone to come online again) they were hugely apologetic for this not being sorted sooner. That there had been a breakdown in communication and that it had not been realized that I was giving live information from a phone that had been stolen. I've also been given the phone number for the Detective Constable who is handling my case!

I think the mention of publicity and a large internet following has spurred them on somewhat!

Now we need an image of when they show him the phone in interview, better still recording!
Seriously tho, do they know you still have control over the phone?
