Finally got round to playing this last night, despite having it on release day (like many games I own). I was ready to pour hours into this as the first missions gripped me like crazy! Really enjoyed it.

On the mission now (3rd?) that is the police chasing one, I'm in a hall... Used in the demo videos. Anyway!

Problem, I have not got a single clue what's going on because I play my games through HDMI from my GPU to my AV, this goes through at a 5.1 LPCM signal...

Apparently the cut scenes won't play at this and HAVE to be put into Stereo to work...

As you can imagine, I'm a bit confused just watching a silent cut scene trying to work out whats going on. Any advice?

Really don't want to remove 5.1 for this game as it works very well. Specially when you are hiding and can hear someone walking up behind you in the room. Works perfectly.
 
I believe the objective is escape the scene. But I may be wrong.

I dont want to spoil what is ahead so can you expand a little on what you've thus far done and what you currently see?
 
It's not really the issue right infront of me, it's any cut scene between missions is not playing audio. So you could infact tell me what is going on, but tonight I could play another 3 missions and be lost just as much.

I need to get the cut scenes to play in 5.1, I was thinking, will it be so simple as to associate the clip files with something like vlc? Or is that just not going to work?
 
I've honestly no idea sorry. I play though DVI to monitor and the 5.1 comes through the soundcard.

What a stupid issue that is though! Very peculiar.
