*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

Played around 6 games this morning and all of them were either pace abusers using lob through ball at every opportunity or playing the 5-2-2-1 formation. Managed to beat them all and at the moment by BPL team has been unbeaten for around 30 matches :D
 
To be honest I've had bugger all from packs. Not one IF at all and I've opened a fair few using fifa points.

Next fifa, I'm going to do it the hard way. Trading and games only. Might open the odd pack with coins but I'm not spending money on packs again.
 
Anyone tried KP Boateng as a CM in 4321? Current CM's in my team are Sneijder, Pirlo, Marchisio and De Rossi, lots of pace as you can see!

Sold Di Natale and have around 100k to splurge :D

Other than Ribery on my first day I've not had that much luck this year compared to the amount of packs I've opened. 1 IF which was Milner. Neymar, Ramos, Casillas, Bale, Marcelo. Not terrible but not amazing.

How many packs do you think you've opened??

*edit* does anyone else here out-and-out refuse to buy a player when the same person lists a load of them for a set price??

I hate it when you see the same player listed 8 or 9 times all by the same person in an attempt to artificially raise the going rate! :mad:

I got bored of making BPL and Italian team so decided to make my beloved Ipswich Town. It's a little frustrating though that some of the squad are not showing up as Ipswich players though and in the wrong positions; but what can you say? - we're not good enough for fifa transfer treatment haha!

My thoughts exactly! If a striker gets an IF for just doing his job (AND one being a penalty!) then surely, by all that is holy, a full back should!!!!

Mind you, Everton aren't quite Milan now are they! ;)
 
Im just pleased Sissoko got one, give it a week or 2 and he will drop to about 15k, will pick him then for my reserve squad :)
 
Not sure what has happened but my opponent has just called three players to a free kick. The one player runs over the ball, the other player ran off toward the box and the third player did a fake shot and then ran off to the box. The ball is still in position, none of his players are standing next to it and I'm unable to move any of my players either. :confused:
 
Decided to chop in my Bundes & Serie A teams and built a new BPL team with a load of players I'd never used before in a new formation and came up with this concoction:

Seems quite versatile so far and I've got 600k in the bank in anticipation of the UP cards coming soon! :)
 
I'm on a bad losing streak at the moment, lost my last 3 in a row :( Anyone got any advice to stop losing your rag when conceding sweaty goals, or goals that are just plain crap where it the GK saves it and it lands right infront of the other teams striker lol.

Stop playing for a while, try again later on. Are you playing seasons? I struggle a bit in Div.1 often! I've gone from div.2 to 1 and back and forth again many times.

Is my current team, although I've replaced Garcia with Song because Garcia keeps getting done for pace in build ups. I try to play possession and shots when I get a chance like Spanish teams but all my shots get blocked. Plus its normally a case of my back 4 being burned for pace from strikers that does me over :(
 
Has anyone tried Lloris in a BPL side?? He seems to be far and away the most expensive keeper and I'm wondering if he's worth it over Cech/Hart??

Indeed, you need to try to focus on stopping those breakaways asap when you sense them happening. Breakaways are the thing about FUT that I find the most frustrating, totally mindless sometimes.
