Yet another reason to love the County town of Kent...

I guess a better thread title would have been "Ever wish your home town could be turned to rubble???

Anyone elses home town done anything similar/as awesome...:rolleyes:
 
Edinburgh is pretty amazing. It was fascinating as a child and living in the Old Town.

I used to go to a rehearsal studio in Wokingham when I was at uni.

Also I once walked from Reading to Wokingham after a gig which finished late and I'd missed the last train home!
 
Telfords OK, as long as you stay away from the place where chavs congregate. We're lucky in Telford as you can travel 5 minutes and you're in the country side, lots of scenic places and the chavs don't tend to visit! :)

Horrible split between an away with the fairies pompous student population and the chavvy masses. No sense of pride anywhere in the place. Insular, introverted, angry. Woeful shopping, terrible public transport that is nauseatingly expensive, uniformity everywhere. No development or excitement.

If the locals were a shop, they would be debenhams. I think that says it well.

Some of the buildings are pretty though.

And it has POSH FISH!
