I am finding FIFA 13 strange.. The team update works online but not on my career?
Such as David Beckham is still at his old American team and not at PSG.

If you're already started your career then there won't be any transfer updates. If you download the latest squads, then start a new career, I would imagine he'll be in the correct club.

I feel the exact opposite!

TOTY Xavi was really good and did feel a marked improvement over his NIF, I really really liked him in all roles.
 
Hey guys just played my first season in Div 5 ended up 2 - 8 met quite a few false starters with rare golden players and badges, strips and stadiums.

I take it people just start teams again to mess with the noobs. :(

Anyway any tips for a newer player like me.

I did get a load of gold players but can't afford their contract renewals in the auction house so I have a mix of bronze silver and gold.

Do most of you play offline to get cash?

I really only wanted to play online games (more interesting really) even though I tend to lose 7 - 0 most of the time. :D

Also small bug bear is I seem to lose connection after 5 minutes and even though it doesn't count as a forfeit I still lose contracts :(
 
i started out with my bronze team for ages and did single player cups and leage until i got a decent amount - it was fun building team slowly i found and still have my bronze team

A good tip for this is to build a really cheap gold team, where you buy everyone for around 600 coins or so. They'll usually come with 7 contracts (they'll be the cards people get in packs and don't want), so play them for their 7 contracts, then either discard them (the minimum you get for a shiny gold player is 600 coins) or sell them, then repeat the process. You won't have a very good team to start with, but it means you won't have to waste money on contract cards until you have players you like enough to want to keep for a while and perhaps build a team around.
 
do out of contract low gold players sell?

I never seem to have any money and usually get 3-5 injuries per game I also seem to suffer from lack of defence when I attack they have 7 behind the ball when the opposition attack I feel like I'm defending on my own the AI just seems to stand around.

I'll take some videos of the opposition scoring (usually score 7 per game) so will have plenty of video evidence of a non existant defence. :(

Wish I thought of this when I started. Bought 30 packs instead.
 
People who play 3-5-2, ultra defensive, ultra sweaty, custom corner tactics to have 5 defenders on the halfway line, should all go and die in the face. Are there really so few people who play proper tactics, proper formations, just to enjoy the game? I seem to find a lot fewer of them lately.
