Geforce Titan rumours.

If they are released when I am off work, I could well do that. Few beers in the evening, hotel for the night and all ready to head for OcUK in the morning.

It is about an 8 hour drive for me but if the specs are close to truth, I will be making the drive :)

There and back? Surely...?
I can get to Stoke in under 2 hours, you must be able to get there in under 4 :p

I'll stick to buying online :D Too lazy to drive there to collect one

Probably. If I left mine at 4am, I could eaily be there before opening. Gibbo could put the kettle on, quick cuppa and back by lunch time.

Probably a better idea. :)

I'll give you a good tip ;) take at least 2 credit cards.....and don't ask me why I said that :D

Are you suggesting these cores are specific to the Titan then ?...the story previously was they were failed K20 chips, which of all the rumours sounds the most logical to me

Even assuming they are salvaged parts rather than a special run for GeForce the number of cores that have fully working 2688SPs but not good enough for tesla would be extremely limited.

The original rumour awhile back (Nov 2012 ish) was they were doing one very low availability card to take back the performance crown and another with around 11-13 SMX and 5GB VRAM with higher availability but I've heard nothing about a 2nd card since.

ive been shopping at overclockers for years ( since longton ), and i think ive only ever had 1 order delivered, i always collect, and ive never had a cuppa from gibbo lol

Thats what I call dedication. :)

I have spent thousands on PC parts from OcUK and I wouldn't mind seeing the new shop (not that I did see the old one). Specs of Titan will make my mind up when they are officially released.

I see what you did there ;)

I can't believe you haven't demanded one before parting with your cash :D

It dont matter how many of the K20's they have if it's a limited edition run, i wouldn't be surprised if it was only 1000 units worldwide like the Ares2.

I'd be very surprised if a 20 page thread was about a very limited run GPU. Normally people just acknowledge it's existence then get on with their lifes.

Don't think they'd even bother making that few. Packaging, driver development, warranty etc. More like 10,000+

Asus do it all the time with the mars and ares cards, it's not about making money with these, it's about having the biggest **** on the block :D
I'm not saying that it will be only 1000 units but that it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was.
