Hello, i've posted a similar post in the past for my cousin but it turned out his budget would be too low for a suitable rig but now he's able to spend up to £700.

This will include all parts, mouse, keyboard and os also. This will be his first ever gaming pc and will just be used for all game genres at a 1920 x 1080 res. I've been trying to get him into pc gaming for a while now so I want to make a good impression with this build. All parts will be bought from overclockers.

Ive experimented with a few builds myself and just want to see what others can come up with, thanks.

Yeah no monitor, he'll be using his tv for now. His plan is to buy the cpu, mobo, ram, case first and I might suggest he buys the gpu last. I recently bought a B Grade gtx 670 PE and im more than happy so if hes willing to go down that route that would be better.

Cheers for the input. He'll get the cpu, mobo, ram, case and HDD ordered this week (providing the B Grade items are still there). Im happy the 3570k is in there, great cpu. Seeing as he's getting the gpu last might hold out for a more powerfull B Grade gpu but will wait and see. Cheers for the input.

p.s I don't think i'll make that 100 post mark any time soon

You only 27 off!! There is a general discussions forum, just jump in there and add some posts.

Cheers guys. White aint my style, I prefer the subtle ''boring'' look but its what he wants. I'll show him this thread this saturday as he'll be spending £400 on parts this weekend and he's willing to go over £700 if need be, I think he's getting excited at the prospect of converting from xbox to pc. He was curious as to why overclockers prices can be a tad more expensive but I told him the customer service etc is top notch so any problems should be hassle free.

Don't forget the free shipping. You got 25 left if you order for him!

Haha i'll try, pretty sure i can manage 25 before Saturday. I don't usually post unless I really need too aka need info or help. I must say tho I think ive got a soft spot for the NZXT H2 Classic Silent Midi Tower case.

It does look nice, I'll give it that!

Im tempted to buy myself, ugh its what I hate about having a pc, I always want new stuff. I'll end the thread here then, thanks guys for the input and i'll be sure to hit that 100 post mark. Hopefully there should be no problems but if so I'll know where to turn, cheers.

Just a quick note. If he buys a Bitfenix case don't get the "core" edition cases. They don't come with any fans, logo's etc.
