I thought about using 433 for this team. But I think both Villa and IF Simao wouldn't really have the pace to be good as wingers. As Forwards though the Villa - Falcao - IF Simao works really well. As then I have a choice to either have a long shot with any of them or the forwards can knock the ball onto Falcao to either head home or smash on the volley (hence why I mentioned the volley stat increase on the UP card being handy).

But yea I do agree the price of UP Falcao is a bit stupid at the moment. I picked mine up for 80k so far I think he was worth it. But then I had the coins to spend.
 
I'm not sold on TOTY Iniesta yet, still need to play with him a few more times then I'll make a decision. Some of his passes are exceptional though.

Is there anyway to improve it before saving up big bucks for the big players? (only have 8k at the moment)

Like I said on XBL, I didn't think that was a cutback at all, just a really well worked goal that took my defence apart. At least I managed to win that one by 2 so the OG wasn't the difference.

And yeah, I thought you were better in the first match as well, a combination of good luck and good goalkeeping kept me in it for most of the match :)

I've gotta be honest, I know we only played twice last night but he didn't shine against me as much as I thought he might. I thought he'd be picking my defence apart more than he did. If you've only just got him though I'm sure he'll just take a bit of getting used to.

You around tonight? I (somehow) managed to beat Peanut's 5-2-2-1 team twice last night, so I wouldn't mind a crack at your 5-2-1-2 team. I need to try and get revenge for last time as well :D

Reminds me of when Dan posted about finding it 'weird how good this team is' when he had like a 5 at the back including Silva, Chiellini and IF Ramos... :p

Sell Bojan and get Callejon, he's only about 1.5k and he'll give Higuain the full 9 Chem. Get rid of Javi Garcia and get Busquets (2.5K), he's a far better player. Get Pereira at RB (2k) as he's far better than Iraola. Swap Jose for Felipe Santana (2k or so), then put in Julio Cesar (2k) instead of De Gea. That'll put everyone on 9 Chem, be a better team overall, and with what you get for selling the players you're replacing, should be affordable with the 8k you've got :)

i managed to win Div 1 for the very first time on Monday night.

with this team:

Buffon
Abate - chiellini-Gamberini-Kaboul-Clichy
Ramires-Toure
Bale - Balotelli - Hazard

:D

with my bench full of bronze players rated between 40 and 44.
Played about 20 matches in all and everything has fallen my way in my favour!!

Don't know if its the back 5 formation or the fact with my bronze subs my team is rated at around 77 and only 4 star.

I don't think your rating makes a difference when you play in the league, as I've got an 86 rated squad and I've played people with squads in the high 70's plenty of times.
 
i meant the "scripting" is in my favour the majority of times due to me having a lower rated squad than the people i play. Despite having better players. Not that i actually believe in it.

but i do now apply team morale cards every 2 or 3 games even when it's very high.

edit: but this is the first time i have kept a team for this long has they seem to perform nearly every game. I don't feel like i scr**ed by the game no more.

Why do you do that ? if your players morale is at 99 it's not going to get any higher. Just seems a waste to me. Unless there is some kind of voodoo behind it :p

i don't mean fitness but morale cards. You can get a silver team morale card for 150 coins. Seems to work for me.
 
Yea I know you meant morale cards, if you look on a players bio it gives you a morale rating like fitness. From (presumably) 0 - 99. If a player has 99 morale it won't get any higher.

Yes, but why do you need it? If you're winning most of your matches your morale will already be on 99, so applying a card is just a waste of time and coins.
