Both for me. I think I've earned around 200k in match earnings alone, plus whatever I've made from trading. I have bought more Fifa points than I normally would though, simply because at this time of year I normally have lots of games I want to buy, but as there really isn't much I want to play lately, I thought I'd put the money towards Fifa instead.
 
Lol, I think I've just played one of the worst/sweatiest teams ever. His back 4 was Ashley Cole, Kieran Gibbs, Glen Johnson and Kyle Walker. His midfield 4 was Ashley Young, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Lennon, and Theo Walcott. He had Defoe and Bent up front, and played ultra defensive just so he could get every sweaty player behind the ball. I guess it nearly worked though, it was so hard to play through that he took me to penalties. I still won though :D

The main problem I can see (besides playing a LW as a LWB), is that your 3 CBs are as slow as snails. Even with 5 defenders, anyone with speedy attackers (pretty much everyone) will probably murder that defence.

How many coins to do you have to improve the team?

Cheers mate, I'll add you! I had 50k then bought Falcao 88 for 20k as my replacement for Fernando Llorente, so I now have 30k, but I have just played my 1st match with Falcao and wasn't massively impressed so I may sell him on and get back to 50k.

I take your point about my slow defenders, I just had a quick look on FUTWIZ and the faster ones like Sergio Ramos and Pepe are like 100k+ :o
 
I thought Pepe was cheap?

If you want to stick to that (horrible) formation you are probably best on something like:

Keeper
Pereira - Pepe - Pique / slowest defender - Miranda - Coentrao
Song - Essien / Alonso
Ozil / Modric / Costa
Callejon - Benzema / Falcao / Soldado

edit: I haven't played in a while so don't know prices, Benzema is comfortably the best ST in la liga but if he's too dear you could go Higuain. Callejon is good as he's quick, has really good off the ball and anyone can finish in 13 so shooting stats are pretty irrelevant.

I have no loyalty to the formation, but I like 5 at the back as I'm not very good :P so I like to have as much bodies in my box as I can.

TBH I can't actually find Pepe so I'll keep looking, the market is flooded with Sergio Ramos' and he's still dead expensive!

BTW with the forward lines I've highlighted in bold, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean Ozil / Modric / Costa as the CFs, and then the bottom line as the one choice of ST?

Ha ha yeah was unlucky.

My cheap Argie's felt a lot more fluid than the La Liga team perhaps the formation helped a bit.

Like that team though, either Benzema or Falcao are decent, most of the time both of them. If one fails the other rarely does.

Your crosses had me worried a lot - was just waiting for Ramos or Pepe to do something stupid :D.

The La Liga team was much easier to play against than the Argentina side, though Valdes was like Superman for you, he was always crap when I used him! I'm gonna make another squad and we can play again over the weekend, the 4-1 was utterly embarrassing for me!
